I am quite new to yoga. At first I thought it was nothing but stretching, but after a few classes, I realized that it was more than that. In the last semester, I have built strength in my upper and lower body, even lost a few inches! And we all know girls love losing weight! I am glad I decided to take the class on campus, and am definitely looking forward to practicing in my future!

I have been a yogi for about 6 years now. Like many people I know, I discovered it in college when I took the class for p.e. credit. I fell in love with it right away. I would have never guessed that I would be able to build the strength that I have built over the years. I mostly use it for meditation, meditating for about an hour every day. It has helped me so much when it comes to stress and has definitely sped up my metabolism. I have dedicated my life to it, and am hopefully starting my own yoga school to teach others how wonderful yoga is and how it can benefit them with their lives.
